• How VoIP / Internet Voice Works?
  VoIP services convert your voice into a digital signal that travels over the Internet. If you are calling a regular phone number, the signal is converted to a regular telephone signal before it reaches the destination.
   
• What Kind of Equipment Do I Need for Visonade Phone Service? A broadband (high speed Internet) connection is required. This can be through a cable modem, or high speed services such as DSL or a local area network. The faster your Net connection, the better the call quality.
  
  * A Broadband connection such as Cable or DSL modem with an ethernet port.
  * A Visonade Phone Adapter.
  * Any touch-tone phone, corded or cordless. A corded phone will be provided by Visonade. Upgrades and Cordless phones will be available on request.
   
• Besides phone adapter, is there any other hardware needed for Visonade phone service?                                                     No. All you need is a broadband Internet connection and a telephone.
   
• If I have Visonade service, who can I call?
  Incoming calls are free and unlimited. You can call anyone who has a US telephone number for 2.5cents a minute. You can call anybody in the US and ask them to call you back to avoid any charges. Charging your account with an initial balance of $10 which will give you up to 400 minutes of talk time for outgoing calls.
  
  You can also call other international numbers. Please check our International call rates. If you are calling someone who has a regular analog phone, that person does not need any special equipment to talk to you.
   
• Can I use my Computer While I talk on the Phone?
  Yes.
   
• Can I Take My Phone Adapter with me When I Travel?
  Yes. You can use Visonade Phone service while your travel as long as you have high-speed Internet connection available.
   
• Does my Computer Have to be Turned on?
  No. Visonade phone service utilizes your Internet connection only, IP services require your broadband Internet connection to be active.
   
• How do I make a payment?                                                 You can make payments online through Paypal or mail a check addressed to "Visonade". You will receive a monthly Invoice and payment reminder via email.
   
• Do I have to sign a contract?                                                No. There is no contract with Visonade. The service can be terminated and renewed any time. For example, if you have bought the plan for somebody in India and they are travelling to the US for 3 months, you can suspend the service for that period.
   
• Can I use my existing regular phone device with Visonade Phone Service?                                                                  Yes. Visonade, will provide a free phone with the purchase of the phone adapter. You can also use your own phone device.
